Garage

Hi,

This is a sample of a garage that i dream for

Salute to this man because of his great shed. It was built for 2 weeks only.

Clutch Plate

Hi,

For the time being i would like to modify my clutch, as my starts is pretty bad, not like before. I guess my clutch got something wrong with it, nothing much but i think the wear & tear rob some power out of it.

Here's a picture of my new F.C.C Clutch plate for NSR SP.

The thickness of these friction plates are more than the one currently used in my bike.

Unfortunately, the steel plates were not.sadly i don't plan to buy it when i'm at singapore..Dang.
Its time for plates hunting!

This are my basket clutch. from the look at it, it was being well used because it have grooves on it.

using file, i deburr the grooves to make it flat.

The grooves is actually an indication of the clutch rubber being worn out. As i have change it recently i won't change it because the grooves is from previous usage.

I will do some modification on the basket, where i will be putting holes on it. might look like this one

Brembo 16mm

Hi,

This is a better picture for the brake that i take it myself. It's too good to be double-posted!

New performance part installed

previously i have already mentioned that i've bought some items for my bike. Now almost all of it have been installed.

The not-so-new windshield.

Pro-Grip throttle grip. note that i have it covered because its is grey, and will get dirty just by letting it open for a moment. I also have put on a new sticker on the tank, the Playstation joystick. The brake had also being installed but nothing much can be seen here.

The sprocket adapter, which i am damn so lucky (Alhamdulillah) found it on my last minute in Singapore. the shop was still open at that time where everywhere else have closed. I got a 428 stainless steel and chain with it but i wanted something more lighter, so i will buy SSS chain & sprocket 415set.

Pro-Arm. This is for sale. Contact for details.

Shopping List

Hi,

I just came from singapore, where it seems to be i can get almost about anything that a biker wants and needs. I went there as i have to clear all my things-to-buy list that i have always in my mind.

This is among the items that i bought.

2nd hand footpeg for $5. i need this but too broke to buy a brand new one. This is straight and everything is still intact.

Progrip throttle for $15. i need this because my hand get numbs all the time. even when i'm eating etc. what more when i'm riding.(need to see a doc quick..i guess)
F.C.C Clutch plate. I'm orginally intended to buy Kaw*as*ki K*PS because i've tried it once before and the acceleration was damn quick. But i think i go with this route, where i've seen Direk's bike is using this clutch. It's only $48.15
Front mastercylinder from Yamaha R6. This was cheaper than buying it from a guy from a forum. I bought it at a Yamaha agent, where this is the 1st time that i see a place full of Yamaha Orginal Boxes and packaging. I wish we have a functional Yamaha Dealer over here. This brake cost me $165 and i think the best mods i ever done.
windshield. i've been all over singapore to search for this shield. i wanted a cheap, aftermarket one because it is more lighter than original. But it seems this is the hardest thing to get. This one is from a bike that is about tu get scrapped. Cost me $20.

and this is on sale for those who need it

Gearbox

Hi,

I have this problem with nsr, where it seems that its 6th gear is made for town riding and highway cruising. That disturbs me a lot when it comes to the top speed of the bike at the front straight, Sepang circuit. It's ratio is 22/24 or 0.916. My intention is to get 1.00 ratio, so i think i should go for 24/24.

I heard that it could be done at machine shop, somewhere at Klang. I think it cost around RM250 per gear.

Cooling

Hi,

I have notice from my previous race that my bike is getting hotter, 70-75 degree in the race. This is not good as the power is when the temperature remains at 55 degree, more than that would spell power loss.

There's nothing more that i could do about this since i have already been using a larger radiator, which i belive from suzuki rgv250. I dont know what the temperature reading would be for a standard one. i hope that it would be more since it is smaller.
However, my radiator is not in a perfect condition, where it got broken and bent tabs here and there.
So i took it off and repair it as much as i could..

After this it needs a blow with compressed air to get rid of small stone that is still inside it

SProcket Mod

Hi,

This is another mod that i've done last week, just before the race. Yes, you can consider it as a very last minute mod, due to the financial problem.LOL.

Well, i sent the front sprocket to a machine shop just around the corner and ask them if they would lathe this thing. they quote me for RM18, its quite high actually but this is racing, and going fast doesn't come cheap.

V Force 3

Hi,

Now i'm looking for this to add on to my performance list

V-Force 3 by Moto Tassinari

I'm already running on Carbono Racing reed valve(carbon fibre) but it is still not enough for me. It's gonna cost me about RM560, but first i will need to see which model suits my NSR, because they only listed it for use of MX bike. it has been known that it is interchangeable with another bike in the same manufacture. My educated guesstimate would be the one from CR 125 model pre 2000 bike.
