Fairings problem

Hi,

I just wanted to inform that the fairing problem that i were facing is now had settled. Previously, it was stated there was "Fairing is free but must follow original shape". I certainly does not fit this criteria because the NSR was fitted with full Carbon Fibre Fairing that was once belongs tu Alvaro Bautista and Mike diMeglio of Maapfre Bancaja Team.




and this is it when fitted to my SP



it had eliminated tonnes of weight by my guestimation, as i alredy measured the fibreglass CBR600 fairing was ridiculously heavy, and this fairing weight just 5kg. The most weight loss i think must come down to the rear end, when there is no more subframe to this bike. The rear end was self supporting fully carbon fibre. Many doubt that it will work, but i guess Thomas Edison were also facing with this situation when he created the lamp.

A. GENERAL
1. Classes
1.1 Class A: 2-stroke production bike up to 150cc. 4 stroke production bike up to 250cc
1.2 Class B: 4 stroke production bike up to 150cc.

B. SPECIFIC MODIFICATIONS
1. Chassis
1.1 Footrests are free.
1.2 Handle bars are free.
1.3 Clocks, lights, instruments may be removed.
1.4 Fairings are free but must follow original shape
1.5 Forks can be modified but not changed.
1.6 Shock absorbers are free.
1.7 Controls (throttle, clutch lever, brake lever, etc) are free.
1.8 Brakes are free.
1.9 Chains and sprockets are free
1.10 Final drive ratio is free.
1.11 Air box are free.
1.12 Others must remain stock.

2. Engine
2.1 Maximum Capacity:
2.11 Class A: 2 stroke: 150cc. 4 stroke 250cc.
2.12 Class B: 4 stroke: 150cc

2.2 Carburetors free up to 30mm ID size.
2.3 For Fuel Injection, maximum throttle body is 32mm ID size. ECU can be modified but not changed.
2.4 Exhausts are free.
2.5 Cylinder head, cylinder block, piston, head gaskets, base gaskets are allowed to be modified or change. Camshafts are free.
2.6 Ignition system free
2.7 Gearbox ratio is free
2.8 Others must remain stock

3. Tyres
3.1 Road legal production tyres only. The organizer will have the rights to introduce a one make tyre.

4. Weight
4.1 Class A: 160kg including rider
4.2 Class B: 145kg including rider

5. Fuel
5.1 Only organizer supplied control fuel is allowed.

COmments:

The entrance fee have increase from MYR200 to MYR250. This is mad, since the prize have been reduced to MYR500 only,half from last year whereas the participation is all under 1 category now.

Fulltrack Race = time consuming. i dont know that we all could finish race at the 8th lap.

Fairings must follow original shape? now where's that come from? i have sold all my original fairing in order to utilize the carbon fibre fairing that i had.Sh*t.

Weight minimum have been made, which is 160kg.haha, that's my new target.

NGK Racing Cable

Hi,

Today my plug cable have just arrive at my workplace. I already bank-in at monday but delivery was expected today only. But that does not really matter since it was not really needed at the moment since my current cable is still in good condition.





Unfortunately for me, the item is not the same like advertised in this pic. Then one that plugs to the plug is longer than the picture. My guesstimate is that this are for those 4-stroke one.But i guess it will do its job after reading the information on NGK website.

I forgot to mention that i had recently bought this plug. I have tried DENSO iridium plug before, then NGK Iridium and now i wanted to try the NGK Racing Plug.It cost below MYR30 only.
