I have this problem with nsr, where it seems that its 6th gear is made for town riding and highway cruising. That disturbs me a lot when it comes to the top speed of the bike at the front straight, Sepang circuit. It's ratio is 22/24 or 0.916. My intention is to get 1.00 ratio, so i think i should go for 24/24.
I heard that it could be done at machine shop, somewhere at Klang. I think it cost around RM250 per gear.

I am using the standard gearbox, but have been lightened previously by late mechanic.
It have been holding up great so far, and it really makes a difference.
