Clutch Basket Modification

Hi,
I have planned to put the clutch back on the bike but when i assemble it, it was so heavy. The modification seems so little so i plan to put more holes on it.
So i drill these holes on the ridges
this will also make the plates get lubed because the holes will channel the oil to it.
i will install it when i purchased the clutch plates. last time in singapore i only managed to buy the friction plates only. bugger as i only noticed that i need the plates also only when i'm home.Dang.

Hi,
Last saturday i also manage to make the airbox. At first i want to just modify the standard, but plastic don't stick to fibreglass. So i have to create a new one, and consider it's a new airbox, i could go crazy on it.
Unfortunately, i ran out of resin and i'm gonna buy resin in order to continue it.

Hi,
Last week i went to Kamco aluminium (www.kamcoaluminium.com). Finally, after months of 'plan' to go there. It was a spontaneous decision as i was there and thinking to drop by and look around. Turns out the salesman is quite friendly. I searching around for leftover alu that they didn't use and ask for their price. the price seems quite reasonable also, as compared to buy it from any other shop. the problem is they only sells for shop/trading purpose only. For example the tube i wanted is 20 feet long and i couldn't buy it loosely.
I went in their office for further information and find out the also got aluminium plate. I ordered a 1 feet alu plate T6061 and collect it the next day.
I cut it to smaller pieces and send them to a machine shop for more preciseness.
this is what they looked after RM45 later. The right one is the heavy steel one. The featherlight alu weight next to nothing.
I have to rivet the clutch basket even though its still in good condition. This is because the rivet is sold with the rubber. Its RM20 includes labour.

Hi,
I have seen my friend's front wheel on his Aprilia RS125, and it seems so light as it turns smoothly. He said he has been using this 6002LU bearings for his wheels. I went to a bearing shop but there's no LU code on their stock. i bought 6302 C3 because that's what they got and it spins freely unmounted. I buy it at Rm9/bearing.
When i'm at the bike shop, i found the LU coded bearings, and it doesn't feels like a high speed bearing. I bought it also for comparison. This is Rm15/bearing.
On the left is the KOYO C3 bearing whereas on the right is NTN LU one.
i have weighted both of them using a digital scale, and both weight at 80grams.
hurm...which is actually better?

Hi,
After i buy the hub adaptor, i'm now looking for chain & sprocket. I wanted to install 428 chain right up but before i did that, i weighted it and found 1.6kg for the chain (GOLD o-ring type) and sprockets.
Then i weighted this 415 chain and sprocket, i found out that they actually weighted HALF of 428 size. It is exactly 800grams only.
I've cancelled my plan to install the 428 chain and i will searching for the 415 sprocket. the one i had is for YAMAHA RXZ and 100 sports, both did not match the hub. The front one is not available for my bike, or any other bike for that matter, so i will modify a 428 one and lathe it to fit 415 chain.
